Speaker Information
All programs are held at the Kittredge Business Center on the campus of
Holyoke Community College, Holyoke, MA. (Please
see directions). The speaker
is responsible for the entire time period from 3:00 until 5:40 pm. There is a 10-minute break at
about 4:15. This provides you with 2.5 hours of contact time. To fulfill the Massachusetts
requirement for 3 educational credits (based on 50 minute hours), this time frame must be
covered. No partial hour credits can be awarded.
The program is held in a lecture room that seats about 150. The room is equipped with a screen and Power Point projector. Please bring a flash drive to insert into the college's computer; using your laptop computer will prove to be more difficult. Arrive by 2:45 on the day of the presentation, so that you can be instructed on how to use the equipment.
On the day of the program, please bring a biography that can be used to introduce the speaker(s). Alternatively, the speakers may wish to introduce themselves. You can anticipate between 60 and 75 CPA's to be in attendance. There is no pre-registration, so an exact count will not be available prior to the seminar.
To get to the campus of HCC, from Mass. Turnpike: Take Exit 4 to I-91 North. From I-91: Take Exit 16 to Route 202. Go South on Route 202 for 0.8 mile to the Holyoke Community College campus. CPE Forum sessions will be held in the Kittredge Business Center.
